common questions

1

How does this whole buying process work?

Once you've paid your deposit, you are guaranteed a butcher spot. We will reach out and let you know your choices for "dropoff dates". Once we dropoff, you will need to submit your custom cut orders. Approx 10-12 days after that you will get your beef bill from us, and a phone call from the butcher confirming your meat is ready. Upon pick from the butcher, you will pay the butcher fees + give them your Beef payment. That's it!

2

What do I get back?

You will be required to submit a cut sheet that will help you decided exactly which cuts of meat you want, what you don't want, how much of each you want, etc. We suggest a mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, stew meat, cube steaks, brisket, short ribs, sandwich steaks and soup bones.

3

How much does it cost?

You will have 2 costs - butcher fees which range from $.95/lb to $1.10/lb and the beef cost which will range from $3.95/lb to $4.25/lb based on your hanging weight. We've broken this down more simply for you to see by clicking the button below.

4

Where and when do I pick it up?

Once you've gotten a beef bill + a call from your butcher, you are set to pickup directly from the butcher shop. We use multiple shops so it depends specifically on your reservation. Pickup usually happens approximately 2-3 weeks after the "dropoff date" which is when your custom cut order was due.
